ICC drops charges against Kenyan president after probe into violence

NAIROBI — Prosecutors at the International Criminal Court dropped charges Friday against Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta for alleged links to deadly post-election violence in 2007.

After a four-year investigation, prosecutors determined that there was not sufficient evidence to convict Kenyatta, the first serving head of state to come before the court.
