Police: Family hears from missing Britons feared to be in Syria

LONDON —One of three British sisters feared to have traveled to Islamic State-controlled territory has made contact with her family back home, police said Wednesday.Britons have been gripped by the story of the Dawood sisters — Sugra, 34; Zohra, 33; and Khadija, 30 — who went missing a week ago with their nine children, ages 3 to 15.
